Curbside Service
As the Fort Plain Free Library works to safely and efficiently reopen our building to the public, we continue to offer curbside versions of many of our services. See below for a list of available services, and please contact us if you have any additional questions.
Requesting Books & Other Materials
Books, audiobooks , DVDs, magazines, and more are all easy to reserve via the library's online catalog! We will notify you when your items are ready to be picked up. Please call the library at 518-993-4646 when arriving for cubside pickup so that library staff can bring your items out to you.

Printing
Email the documents and links you would like to have printed to fortplainfreelibrary@gmail.com. Please specify any special requirements (double-sided printing, color printing, multiple copies, etc), and let us know how you would like to be contacted when your documents are ready for pickup. When arriving to collect your documents, call the library at 518-993-4646 so that library staff can bring them out to you.
Faxing, Copying, & Scanning
Documents to be faxed, copied, or scanned may be placed in the book drop (located just to the left of the main entrance). Please call the library at 518-993-4646 when arriving so that we will know to collect your documents. For faxes, please provide the fax number that the documents should be sent to, and for scans, please provide an email address where you would like us to send you images. Library staff will scan your documents and return them to you once your transaction is complete.
$1 per page for Faxing and Scanning
10¢ per page for Black & White Copies • 25¢ per page for Color Copies
Computer Access via the Library Chromebook
For patrons who may not have access to a computer at home, the Fort Plain Free Library now offers a Chromebook available to borrow. The Chromebook may be borrowed for up to three days, with the option to renew for an additional three days if there are no other patrons on the waiting list. Wi-Fi access is required to use the Chromebook.
