Camp Curiosity returns for our Summer Reading Program! Join us at the Library on Thursdays from 2:30 – 4 pm to explore, experiments, and discover exciting science phenomena! (Ages 8 – 13)

Bite-Sized Book Sales return this summer! Every Friday during July and August, we’ll have a special limited selection of books and other items available for purchase, with all proceeds supporting the library. New books will be available each week, so check back often to see what’s new!

Celebrate your reading achievements and join us for our biggest party of the summer! This free event in Haslett Park features food, yard games, family activities, and more. Plus it’s a a final opportunity to trade the cards you’ve earned and collect a full set! (All ages welcome)

Founded and hosted by homeschooling parents, the group is an opportunity for families that homeschool to collaborate, share materials, and learn together. The first session will meet at the library on February 7th, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm, and participants are welcome to join every Wednesday!

Join us on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 6 to 7:30 pm for meetings of the Library Ensemble, a community band led by Sam Zimmerman! We recommend this program for ages 16 and up.

People of all ages and walks of life are invited to bring their individual quilting, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, weaving, felting, and/or fiber-and-textile craft projects to the Fort Plain Free Library for each weekly gathering of the Creative Textile Fibers Group. Bring a project to work on and share.

Join host Colleen Harris for a friendly group dedicated to crochet and good books! Colleen has taught beginner crochet lessons at several libraries, and is able to accommodate all skill levels (she does ask that participants in this group be over age 18).
