Experience the thrill of discovery at this year's Summer Reading Program! Throughout July, we'll be hosting a series of programs for a variety of ages, where kids can: 

• Excavate clues to solve a library-wide scavenger hunt
• Learn to sew and create their own unique bags
• Design maps with authentically weathered edges
• Cook s'mores using only the power of the sun

And much more! (Plus, we have programs for adults too: create a unique piece of artwork as you learn to paint like Bob Ross; and join us for a discussion of Tracy Chevalier's historically inspired novel Remarkable Creatures!)

Our library trading cards return for a third year! Once gain, you'll be able to complete challenges throughout the summer, earning a new card for each. But this time, there's a twist: every card from our 2026 set contains a unique design on the back, each containing a clue to a secret puzzle. To solve it, you'll have to collect them all! (Plus, once you collected this year's cards, you can continue reading and completing challenges to earn cards you may have missed from our 2024 and 2025 sets!)
