The next project of the Fort Plain Free Library’s intermediate sewer’s group will be a raglan T-shirt, designed to teach the basics of clothing construction.
Retired Family and Consumer Sciences teacher Pamela Boynton will guide students as they pin the pattern on their own fabric and cut it out. Using the basic skills taught in the beginner’s class, participants will sew seams then learn how to use bias tape to finish off the neck.
The pattern to be followed is the Chelsea — Linen Raglan Tee, https://fabrics-store.com/…/chelsea-linen-raglan-tee-pattern (shown). It is used with the permission of Fabric-Store.com.
